Mark Wallage
Owner, Creative Director & Technical Producer
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology. He has been producing major events for over 35 years. He has created dazzling Opening Ceremonies for international events throughout Australia and Asia. Mark is known for his skill as a live event director and show caller, and was employed in that role for the Sydney & Beijing Olympics; the Melbourne Commonwealth Games; and the Asian Games in Doha. As well as overseeing CEM’s operations, Mark manages creative and technical production for CEM.
Nicole Robertson
Senior Conference Manager
Nicole has over 25 years’ experience working on Association Conferences particularly in the Medical Sector with expertise in managing large committees and complex program development including abstract submission and review processes. Nicole also excels in overseeing large budgets ensuring high quality outcomes for clients. After joining Concept Event Management in 2020 Nicole has successfully managed a diverse range of client conferences including banking, payments, electrical, community housing and for a range of medical societies. Nicole had led the development of virtual conferences through Events OnAir and other Webinar platforms. Nicole has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Tourism Management and has been a Certified Event Manager with the Professional Conference Organisers Association since 2010.
Rachael Elsworth
Conference Manager and Sponsorship & Exhibition Manager
Rachael has 18 years’ experience across venue management, in-house corporate events, and conference management. She has managed major conferences for member-based and corporate organisations, overseeing all aspects of planning, stakeholder coordination and on-site delivery. Rachael is known for her ability to manage complex sponsorship programs and exhibition environments, building long-term partner relationships and ensuring seamless, commercially successful events for clients, sponsors and delegates. Rachael has a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure Management.
Belinda King
Senior Conference Co-ordinator
Belinda has over 17 years’ experience in the event industry, beginning with outdoor music events and touring festivals for Indigenous and non-Indigenous school children in remote areas of Australia. For the past 12 years, she has specialised in delivering conferences and awards programs across the pharmaceutical, banking, engineering, medical, and not-for-profit sectors. She brings strong attention to detail and experience in sponsorship sales and entitlement management, ensuring partners receive maximum value. Her expertise also includes conference website builds, venue liaison, registration management, and coordinating travel and accommodation logistics. Belinda holds a Diploma of Event Management and is known for delivering seamless, well-executed events.
Kyra Thomas
Conference, Sponsorship and Events Co-ordinator
Kyra joined Concept Event Management in 2023 and brings a proactive approach and strong attention to detail to her role. Since joining the industry, Kyra has supported the delivery of a wide range of events in the banking, payments, medical, electrical and community housing industries with events ranging from 100 to 2500 delegates. She is highly skilled in managing registration systems through EventsAir, building conference apps and websites, coordinating marketing emails and plays a key role in stakeholder coordination, building strong relationships with sponsors and suppliers to ensure events are delivered seamlessly. Kyra has a Diploma in Event Management and is completing a Diploma in Marketing & Communications.
Jami Prowse
Conference, Sponsorship and Exhibition Co-ordinator
New to Concept Event Management, Jami brings experience across marketing, events, and brand projects. She previously worked with a financial services firm, where she managed client events, digital campaigns, and business development initiatives, and was named Employee of the Year in 2023. Jami holds a Bachelor of Business Management and focuses on strong organisation, clear communication, and delivering well planned events.
